Hello Black Hills Climbers, 

At our latest meeting we discussed our two up and coming events, Beans & Biners and Pumpfest. Last year we voted on having the two climbing top rope days into one full weekend with a large gathering at the Custer Beacon with free giveaways and live music. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we have decided to cancel the large gathering portion of this event. 

However, we are still hosting the Beans & Biners/ Pumpfest since we can still practice some sort of social distancing. So here are the details. 

Both events will be held Labor Day Weekend (September 5th & 6th)

Sunday September 6th: Pumpfest @ 9am

-Located in the Ten Pins/ Switchbacks Area in Custer State Park 

-Please try to carpool from Sylvan Lake

-If interested in helping set up ropes please arrive at the Cathedral Spires Parking Lot at 8:45AM.

FYI: There will still be live music at the Custer Beacon this weekend, but the BHCC is not the host of the event.
