Bozeman 2020
Written & Captured by Luke Ross
We arrived in Bozeman and hit the weather perfectly. Our first day was a bluebird day and with excitement high, we decided to check out a climb called Cleopatra's Needle which is a 2 pitch WI 5.
Tim led the first pitch which was an extremely fun WI 3+ with the belay at the start of an intimidating column of vertical ice.
The belay at the start of pitch 2.
On the second pitch after being on the sharp end for what felt like an eternity, with my forearms so pumped I could barely swing an ice axe, I had finally made it to the belay.
On our last morning we hiked up to the Scepter, which is an amazing 100ft WI4+ piece of ice.
