For next year, we will try to start advertising much further out and plan it before Banff.

Any marketing things from now on we will look over and double check spelling.

Pumpfest (July 26/27)

Need Committee ASAP

Gather volunteers for this:

  • Will post a “Join the committee” signup on website this weekend 

Will then start reaching out to brands ASAP!

Event Insurance 

Updates: 

  • General liability policy $3000 (covers ALL events)

    • you need 501c3 for this and no additional insurers charge

    • Participants are covered - participant fee associated with this

      • Big brands (i.e. mountain hardwear) sponsor events like this with a cash donation

      • Ex: icefest got a $5000 check from mountain hardwear, perhaps we can get similar

  • One day insurance if we cannot get 501c3 by pumpfest we will need this 

    • $1500


IDEA:  Stamp or wristband for waiver to make sure everyone has signed it

BHCC Membership Pricing


All the board members voted yes to raise it to $35 - Begins July 1st.  

Susan Surbeck paid for membership make sure this gets updated


Fundraising Idea:

License plate 

  • $1.50 each = $115 for 200 decals 

  • Need to reach out to Bergdale’s to see if they can carry this out

-All the new hardwear is now powder coated

$15 per shirt - Ron’s daughter had some designs made, he will send to board

Collin White was interested in making designs for TSHIRTs for pumpfest 


Recommendation: Sponsor coop for TSHIRTS

Recommendation: less ink on shirts to be more flexible and comfortable


General Consensus: Give away old shirts
