  1. Deletion and renaming of routes in Spearfish Canyon

    1. Huge amounts of routes and almost entire areas being removed

      1. Without consultation of Coalition

      2. A lot of concern with this

      3. Mike Cronin reached out to Mark

      4. No response from MP but they sent email about one user specifically and issues with his route names/descriptions

      5. Climbers in spearfish suggested deleting the whole 

    2. Change the names Mike seems fit in new guidebook


We decided to make a post and start a conversation about it.  Explain what we are responsible for, what we are gonna do about it, and keep out of it.


  1. Pumpfest - decision

    1. International Climbing Festival Cancelled

Sponsorships might be an issue 

Previous year $3000 worth of sponsorship money from local businesses 

No big name company sponsors

Reach out to local businesses

Beacon is in - if we decide to have after party

Sponsorships from local businesses if we can

Lower key with no after party

Get itinerary for event

  1. Custer State Park Brochure

    1. Lydia with CSP

    2. Maps - need to send her maps - Jason or Hirsch - contact them for PDF copies

    3. Contact info - 

    4. Ethics - someone knowledgeable to write general history 

    5. Brief History - Speak with Jason about writing history


Need to establish better contact for bolt repairs


Repair report - Ron and Chris

Replaced anchor on tent peg

Fixed anchor on better than pool and pie

Removed garbage on tower of teeth

Need to go back and replace anchors on tower of teeth
